Taylor County Office of Emergency Management is part of Kentucky Emergency Management and is in the Region 10 Area. Taylor County Emergency Management is “normally” the lead agency in local long-term disasters and critical emergencies working jointly and closely with our local emergency services to insure the safety of our citizens and the mitigation of the situation. The goal of TCEM is to be resilient in the safety, security, and preparedness of disasters that could affect our community. In conjunction with Kentucky Emergency Management, TCEM has a superior emergency management team that is made up of and lead by professional, specially skilled local emergency services consisting of Campbellsville Fire & Rescue, Taylor County Fire, CTC EMS, CTC E 9-1-1, Campbellsville Police, Taylor County Sheriff, Taylor Regional Hospital, Lake Cumberland District Health, and a vast majority of professional health care agencies and other city, county, and state government agencies. It is the goal of TCEM to keep the public informed of pending situations via TCEM Facebook and local radio stations.
